Leeds striker Ross McCormack twisted his ankle in a defeat to Cardiff and faces several weeks out.
Luke Varney is set to replace McCormack but veteran Andy Gray is also an option, while defender Adam Drury is a doubt with a muscle strain.
Hull midfielder Seyi Olofinjana will undergo a late fitness test on a hamstring injury, with Corry Evans on standby to replace him.
Defender Alex Bruce (knee) should be fit but Paul McKenna is suspended.
